If you want to automate a workstation, tap on the red ‘Automate’ button. When it is red, it is a signal you are missing Cash or your Beach Bum is not at the required level.
You will be taken to the Automate Popup where you find that your Beach Bum hasn’t reached the required level yet for automation (indicated by the yellow box) and as a result, now the green button reads ‘Upgrade’. Tap on the green Upgrade button to proceed.
You are taken to the Beach Bums menu and you find you have not collected the adequate amount of replicate cards for the Beach Bum in question, however, you have collected enough Pearls. Tap on the orange Go button to proceed.
You are then taken to the Upgrade menu where you can spend Gems to buy the missing replicate cards. Tap on the green Gem button.
You now have the required cards and you can automate your workstation!
