HOW TO PLAY SCRAPBOOK SCRAMBLE? (Adventures)

As you progress through Chapter 4 of the High Tide game you will unlock the Scrapbook Scramble game! Our clumsy Jake has unwittingly ruined a large number of Healani’s treasured photographs through a paper shredder mistaking it for a scanner. You must help him and Keoki try to piece together the photographs before Healani finds out!

When you unlock the mini-game you will know as an animated finger pointer will appear on the screen indicating that you should tap on the Adventures button. Tap on the button to progress. 

Upon entering the Adventures menu, an arrow pointer will signal you to tap on the Scrapbook Scramble Game button which is now unlocked. Tap on the button to proceed. 

You are now shown the Select Mode menu, where you find (A) the Regular Mode button which takes you to the regular game mode and (B) the Tournament Mode button which takes you to the tournament. In addition to the aforementioned, you will also find the Reset timer (indicated by the yellow square) as well as (C) your respective ranking in the specific tournament. Tap on the Regular Mode button to proceed. 

Keep in mind that you can always replay the tournament to improve your ranking.

You are now presented with the play initiation screen where you find:

1. The return to previous menu page

2. Which puzzle you are currently going to play

3. The reward meter

4. The time allowance you will have to solve the puzzle

5. The image showing you what the puzzle should look like when completed

6. The Reward you can earn 

7. & the Bonus Reward you can earn (by completing the puzzle in a set time faster than the granted time allowance).

Tap on the Play button to proceed.

To complete the puzzle you are to drag and drop the appropriate pieces into the grid on the top half of the screen. The little arrow icon at the bottom right of the game screen (highlighted by the red square) is the toggle puzzle pieces button, tap on it to see the remaining pieces of the puzzle at your disposal. 

Upon successful completion of the Puzzle, you are prompted with the Level Complete screen. Here you will find:

1. The Reward meter indicates whether you attained both rewards (in this example you have)

2. The specific Reward you earned

3. & the Bonus Reward you have earned

Tap on the Claim button to proceed to the next Puzzle.

If you happen to have failed to complete the puzzle in the allotted time you will be presented with the Time’s Up screen where aside from previous information (i.e. Missed Rewards) you are also presented with:

1. The Continue button, which by tapping you will be able to continue playing in exchange for watching a short video Ad.

2. & the Missed Out button which will take you out of the game.

Tournament Mode

If you wish to play the Tournament Mode of the Puzzle game, tap on the Tournament Mode button (B) in the Select Mode button. 

In the Puzzle Tournament menu, you find:

1. The time remaining until the tournament is over

2. The All Rewards button 

3. & your rank in the tournament & whether you have earned a trophy (remember earning more trophies can secure your lifetime achievement rewards!)

In order to earn a reward in a tournament you must reach the rank of 200th or higher. Remember that Final ranks count when the tournament comes to an end (signalled by the disclaimer highlighted by the red square). Tap on the Free button to commence playing in the tournament.

If you tapped on the All Rewards button you will be presented with the Prize Pool menu where you can find:

• (A 1), (A 2) & (A 3) the Leaderboard buttons for the specific puzzles within the tournament

• (B) & the current tournament’s Leaderboard.

Your rank and the time remaining will be provided towards the bottom of the screen (indicated by the red square).

Upon completion of a tournament, you can Claim your rewards if you won any by accessing the Select Mode menu and tapping on the Claim Rewards button.
